All courses for the Master of Theatre Studies meet on the SOU campus over three summers. The curriculum includes required coursework before and after the two-week summer residency period and throughout the academic school year. In addition, students will take three elective courses during their residencies.<\/p>\n<p>The SOU residency portion of the program includes active discussion of production elements, including script analysis, scenic, costume, lighting and sound design, direction and stage management, stage management, hands-on training in all production areas, and practical application of technical processes.
